Since our letter of resignation, we have been in contact with many members.  We are here to listen to your concerns and will work to make this as good a transition as possible.  We have come up against our inabilities to secure your trust in making additions to the staff of St. James. You are satisfied with us because of the work we do.   While you have expressed appreciation for our ministry here, we believe that that is, for a large part, because we have been willing to devote so much time to this ministry.  Calling on shut-ins, visiting the sick, playing games with the youth, fixing the machinery that needs repair, leading 3 worship services each week...

We encourage you to deepen your commitment to St. James in the weeks ahead. 

Be a part of the decisions that are made. 

Be kind and listen to one another. 

This ministry is for Christ and because of Christ.  Let's all remember that.
