St. James' rental house is once again ready and available for rent. This home is a small two bedroom, one bath with a basement garage and a screened-in porch. The address of the property is (1120 NE Davidson Ct. Kansas City, MO) and is available for immediate occupation. The Property Committee is looking to rent this home for $500/month. Potential renters may view the home by contacting the Church office and scheduling a time to view it. All applications will need to be submitted through the church office. The renter will be responsible for all utilities and trash service. The lawn care service will be provided. If you or somebody you know is interested, please have them contact the church office.

Some of these will probably be cleaned up (over time), but it's a great opportunity to view the experiences that the youth share during these events.

Calling all artists, gardeners, bakers, woodcrafters, handcrafters.... An idea is growing out of the Church in the World Committee, inspired by an article in "The Lutheran" (February 2008 "Women to Women" by Julie B. Sevig). Because of the stories shared in this article, we have been inspired to organize a sale of donated items from the hands, homes and gardens of church and community members to benefit chosen charitable organizations. The only rule is that the items are homegrown or handmade. Since out first event will be in early September, consider making something over the summer months! St. James Hand to Heart can benefit from your ideas and help in many ways. Here are some of the pictures of the items available for the 2008 Hand to Heart Sale.
